The restaurant of the village

“Il Barrino di Tatti” is the expression and property of the village of Tatti and its people.
Born around 1970, still today it is property of the association that created it; here you can breathe the air of the village.

We are in Tatti, just outside the medieval village made of stones and narrow streets, 410 m above sea level.

It will be easy to park and reach the medieval village within the walls.

Ruedi Gerber

An idea of Hospitality

Il Barrino di Tatti is managed by the Swiss film producer Ruedi Gerber, being part of his idea of hospitality and relationship with the land.

Ruedi has always had a clear vision of what Tatti’s “little ancient world” could represent, for himself and his always welcome guests.

We will therefore continue, according to his vision, to offer the most good, natural, territorial and sustainable products we can find through our local suppliers.

Ruedi’s World

The restaurant Il Barrino di Tatti is part of “Ruedi’s World” – a hospitality system that involves the B&B La Fattoria di Tatti and the biodynamic farm and agriturismo Sequerciani.

In a perspective of increasing attention to the territory, slow living and the old way of saying “we are what we eat“, we make choices that mark our direction more and more clearly.
